it is very seldom that something of this magnitude happens in your life. We were so blessed to get this kidney. We were listed on teh transpalnt list for a year and a half. We thank the family that gave so that Scott might have life. If the family of the 40 year old male is out there, we can not tell you in words how much it has meant for us to be able to get this kidney. We no longer have to go to dialysis and he is doing very well other than getting tired easily.
We will be four months out on December 18, 2007. Scott was able to see his youngest daughter married on December 15, 2007. What a blessing to be able to live to see this. We have two more left to get marreid and if all goes well we will see this hppen as well. I couldn't help thinking on Saturday if we would have been able to see Taiya marreid if we had not received this kidney. Oh, well enough of the what ifs! Life is grand and we must enjoy it! The good Lord has seen to our needs and this is the plan for us!
A. J passed his nursing exams. One more quarter and he will take his RN state boards!
